hi, came across your app via skratchworx, nice stuff. was wondering/hoping if you intend to make a standalone version of this as a little pocket scratching tool? basically this:

but on the iphone! seems like you've got the hard part worked out in terms of deck control, intertia, start/stop etc. why i can even see a possible roadmap: -v1 just needs a virtual fader, or easier still, a punch button. instant jazzy jeff chirps. -v2 add the ability to play your own samples (throw legal caution to the wind and include 'aah/fresh') -v3 include a beat looper in the background, with a premade library of standard scratch electro loops -v4 includes exporting to mp3 -v5 adds recording the scratch manipulation data, and some kind of editing interface. there's your roadmap. go code! ;) seriously, i've been fiddling with the clever yet abandoned fruity scratcher in flstudio for ages, been hoping something else would pickup the slack. here's fruity scratcher in action by the amazing spyrofunk. shows that scratching with simple hardware interface and punch buttons is definitely possible:
