I bought ME yesterday and ran in at my gig last night all night long. It ran great except for one issue. At one point in the night my mix output went black. Both decks showed perfect playing videos and audio was still streaming, and also my overlay was STILL spinning. I freaked out and started trying different stuff, ended up restarting ME while the song was still playing and then everything came back to normal. After going over the whole night in my head, this had happened once earlier in the night but the song i was going to mix in i decided to change and the black mix output went away. Then it struck me, im 90% positive it was a transition that was acting screwy. I installed all transitions yesterday and had my selection on random with crossfader controlling video fade and no links to the upfader just always on full. The first time when i switched the song it switched transitions and problem was fixed unintentionally. The second time i was going back and forth between songs with the crossfader trying to figure out what was wrong and restarted ME before adding a new song. For these reasons im pretty sure a transition was the culprit. Only problem is i dont remember which one it was...... So im going to be testing for many hours trying to recreate the problem.
