skinnyguy from what i've read so far, 2.3 seems better than 2.1 - 2.2. probably be the next version i jump to....unless i get a rane 62
codee Support for the rane 62 wont be out until Serato 2.4 is out. so when thats released, that will be the version to get. Serato said 2.4 will be out just before the 62 is shipping.
DjBoozie I use it last night to record my latest Video Mix.. I did get one freeze (on the waveform only) when i did an Instant double but other then that I ran just fine... But I will do some more testing before I use it out.. Had a audio dropout when i use it before so I'm going to do some more testing @ home to be on the safe side
djpoproxxx 2.3.3 here. I haven't had any crashes, but I have had a usb pop here and there (yellow-orange, almost red light in SSL) other than that, it's done pretty well the last 2 weekends, after rescanning the entire mp4 library
tomloud hey i've been having problems with 2.3.3 rescanning all my files. in fact twice now during gigs it has refused to load an mp4 because "writing tags, please try again in a few moments," which never goes away so i can't play that track! i rescanned all my files when i moved up to 2.3.3, but it's still mucking me around! i'm going back to 2.2! any thoughts? tom
Nick I would post that over on the Scratch Live help forum if you haven't done so already. I know there are still quite a few users that appear to be having issues with tags writing and corrupt files.
mastak07 I have been using 2.0.1, from the disc that I got with my rane 68 and its been 99% reliable. I do have a few "bad" mp4s that have crashed it and have been deleting them as I come across them. If I am plugging into the sl4 I have to use 2.2.2 or above. I have yet to use it but I know 2.2 was fukd whenever I wanted instant doubles. It would struggle hard on my 15" 2010 macbook pro 512graphics 8 gig ram 1tb 5200 WD drive:)
