I cant get this to work. Where is the quartz composition i need?

What are you trying to do? If you want to use Quartz Compositions, then you'll also need to download and install the Syphon plug-ins for Quartz Composer from here: http://syphon.v002.info/

I am trying to run syphon into Mixemergency. I've downloaded so many of these plugins. Syphon SDK, Quartz Composer Master, Xcode, Graphics Tools, I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. When I put Syphon Client.qtz in ME it does nothing.

What are you outputting to Syphon from? Are you able to see any Syphon feeds in the Syphon Client application?

I'm using the celldna demo which i'm thinking might be the problem (syphon server might not work on the demo?). In the syphon client app i can see ME's output and it gives lists celldna but only gives me a blank screen. I tried to see if i could get ME running into itself by dropping the syphon client.qtz onto the right deck or channel 2 and it is just blank. How would I tell the quartz comp which syphon input to use?

If you have Quartz Composer, you can open the composition, find the Syphon patch, and go to the Patch Inspector. In there should be two text fields that you can use to identify the Syphon feed. I can't check exactly what it is for MixEmergency - but the first should be "MixEmergency", and the second should be "Output" (or something like this). You should be able to read the actual values from the Syphon client application.

And you can run the output of MixEmergency back into itself - this was one of the first things I tried when Syphon came out, to see if I could "break" it :)

Click on the composition to make sure no patches are selected, then click the Parameters button. You'll see 2 fields: Server Name and Application Name. In these you'll put the correct values (Output, and MixEmergency - or whatever you need).

Did you install the Syphon Quartz Composer plug-in? Because I can't see it anywhere in your composition...

That's the thing their site isn't very informative. Under "Quartz Composer Integration" all they show you is a video with no instructions. The readme in "quartz-composer-master" says "Install the Syphon.plugin bundle into /Library/Graphics/Quartz Composer Plug-Ins/ " but i dont have that directory. I dont understand how everyone else is doing this so easily.

Ah, ok. You need to create the folder "Quartz Composer Plug-Ins" in the /Library/Graphics/ folder. The composition won't work unless it's able to find the plug-in.

I created that folder and I still cant get this to work. What else could I be doing wrong?

You've created the folder, and put the plug-in file it in? Next, you'll have to re-download the Quartz Composer client compositions again - as the ones you areadly have have been saved without the Syphon Patch in them. These compositions should work fine. If they give you any error/warning screen when you open them, then there is a problem.
