So I'm starting to go back to my roots as a house DJ again. The club i rez at has asked me to play all house sets serval times recently (which i fine with) but as you other vj's know videos for house music are few and far between. But i do have a ton (like 1000's) of awesome visuals, flash animations, and quartz composition. Without linking a file to every single track dose anybody have any good ideas on how to get a large verity of visuals to play. I have my media bank full of my fav quartz comps, but with how fast i mix those 12 get boring in the 1st hour. I dont want to waste the time to load a new "folder" of qtz every 20 min. Plus i would like to take advantage of the visuals i have. Any ideas? 1 idea i do have is syphoning the video into grand vj. wich i have done before, but i'm trying really hard to get away from paying any attention to the video and have all of my audio controls mapped to change the visuals in some way. So far its been great but if i run grand vj it will take too much of my attention away from the music. And thats just not good. any ideas?
