output window is huge, how to make smaller

my ouput window when im not connect to a screen just setting cues is huge. how do i make it smaller?

You can resize it. Move your mouse to the lower right corner and then click and drag the window frame.

i knew that always. its so strange. if i click in preferences to make multiple output screens those are adjustable as normal but with just one window if i click anywhere on outer screen its shows a white outlin of box and just moves it. its wont resize. i feel like im going nuts. it was always resizeable
