the problem is that for the wireless video to be sent to your laptop requires software on both the wireless camera and the laptop. in the case of mobiola, the phone (wireless camera) has software that talks to the software on the laptop. this is how the laptop sees the 'wireless camera' as a camera. even with apps like webcamxp or other web cam software, you can view the wireless cameras in the software, but the wireless camera doesn't show up as 'camera' that the os can use. currently mobiola is the best implementation for using a phone as a wireless camera.
