This way you can have a certain effect always hit on the one, with other fx for the rest of a measure. Example: pussycat dolls "don't cha" On the 1, which is the deep bass kick, use Bad TV - 1st slot Remaining slots could be empty or Shake effect. You can choose which slots to have an effect to coincide with the 8-count measure. Of course it would be sweeter for 16 or 32 slots, but that's getting pretty far....figure 8 would be simple and quick, yet diverse enough. And this would be a beat grid effect.
