2 Issues with ME 2.0

Saturday night I tried to get the live camera option to work with my Logitech Quickcam Orbit and was having some difficulties. Tried replugging and rebooting to no avail. I had to launch PIP2 to get the camera to work in ME. (MacBook 2011 btw) Also the other "issue" is I would like to better fine tune placement of the camera and text line and trying to do so is difficult with mouse.

same here... fine tuning the placement is pretty difficult with the trackpad... is it possible impliment the use of the arrow keys while holding down the trackpad?

Hold down the shift-key and then click and move the control - that'll give you finer control. Regarding the camera: is it recognised by QuickTime Player when you try to start a new movie recording?

Yes, the camera is recognized in Quicktime. I was able to use it via that .js file in the media back. Thursday and Friday the camera worked without issue. Could be hardware issue. I have used this camera at gigs for 2 years.

Anyway, I could do this successfully with the camera. I am going to try 2.0.1 and see if I continue to have issues.

Ah, ok. It's just a regular file. In fact, you can rename any file to have the extension ".DVInputStream" and it'll work. Let me know how you get on. Also, be sure to check that nothing else is using the camera at the same time (e.g. any other application, or the .DVInputStream feature of MixEmergency).
