The idea behind this is DJ's who play in multiple venues with video systems having different characteristics. The inspiration is Apple's own "calibration" settings that can be saved and are remembered anytime a particular display is plugged in. What I suggest is that most of what's in Preferences/Display (with the exception of the bottom "preview" settings) and the Delay Compensation setting be combined into one "Video Output" pane and given the ability to save/recall settings. Would also be useful to have some more advanced output adjustments available there (gamma for one). I kind of suggested this before with just the Delay Compensation when that got added, but realized that I think it would make more sense to combine all of it the way I described above. Then users who do those adjustments at a venue can easily recall them all the next time they're there.
