djnyce yes. rename the existing MixEmergency.app file to MixEmergency172 and then install 2.0 i have 1.7.2, 2, 2.0.0.3, 2.0.0.6 and 2.0.0.8 currently installed.
Nick Yep, that's fine. The only thing you want to do is to make sure you save your MIDI mapping in 2.0 if you've assigned any MIDI outputs - as this info will get lost when you go back to 1.7.2 (if you're simple using the default auto-save option).
