Nick I'd rather use iChat - I find it's easier for people to use (and it has simple text, file, audio, video, and screen-sharing).

Nick Can you open the MIDI window, and then unplug and then plug it back in? Did anything show up in the Info section of that window?
Nick Also, check the Inputs and Outputs section at the top of the MixEmergency window to make sure that the device is selected.
DjBoozie yeah go into windows at the top... open midi and make sure your midi device is checked. that'll get it to working, when you hit a button on your controller the in button will lite up green
