djshadowdubai Hey I been using my USB to MIDI cable connected to the DJM 800 in my club, and it instantly mapped onto the channel faders. BUT somehow when i try connecting it in different clubs, it doesn't seem to map - where could I be going wrong? S
codee i have seen DJM800's have the midi fail before. It could be that there mixer is just broken. and you should suggest they fix it. But to be sure, run a program that sees if you computer is receiving the MIDI data. Also you shouldn't need to remap for every 800 out there. If you map ME to 1 800 all 800 should work. Unless the MIDI channel on the 800 has been changed. look up the manual for the DJM800 online and it will show you how to change the MIDI ch it is running on.
