Hi Nick, Ok so there has been a shit storm all over the Serato forums. So it's about time we put some questions to you! Serato have said "IF" you get ME working with 2.4.0+ then that's great but they still do not support it. But what are the REAL chances of you getting ME to work with ssl 2.4.0+ and the rane 61 & 62??? We need to hear what your plans are! And have you had any look in contacting Serato? We need ME to work again! Just take a look on the serato forums to see the support for your video software. So please give us an honist answer to what the deal is. Thank you.

I'm sure this is not as easy to answer as we would all like it too be. But I too would like to know. From what you have said before Nick you said that you use the hooks thats VSL uses to link into to serato to get ME to work. (and if im correct you had a hand in programming the original VSL so you had prior knowledge on how it worked). Since Serato built Serato Video from the ground up they undoubtedly changed the way the Serato video links into SSL. So what are the chances that Serato will hand you the un-compiled code for SSL (and serato video) so you can see if you can even make it possible to get ME to work with it? It would be nice is serato just left in the hooks for VSL but i understand them wanting to clean up there code and remove unused features. Anyway I will still be an ME user for a long time to come. I just hoping that ME 2.0 will get you enough new customers to make some money to reprogram ME to hook into this new serato video. Side option/idea i just had. I know serato Video is contemplating adding syphon support. Any chance you can add syphon input into ME so we could suck the serato-video vide out and mix it all inside ME? just a thought.

I'm still talking with Serato - will post an update once there is information worth posting. I know that a lot of people want to know the exact details right now, and there is a lot of mis-information out there, but until there is something further to announce, I can't really add a whole lot of detail to what you already know: and that is that MixEmergency isn't working with the latest versions of Scratch Live (2.4.0, and the 2.4.1 public beta).
