It looks as though you have a very powerful set-up, and it should run MixEmergency very well. However, once your computer's memory runs low you will experience low frames rates (as the computer swaps your RAM to the hard-disk). If you are unable to move the buffer slider (in the Advanced section of the preferences) from the lowest position then this means that MixEmergency has detected that your free RAM is running low. You can try a few things to figure out what is using up your RAM. Could you please run the Activity Monitor application and let me know the results of the next few steps? You can find the Activity Monitor application it in your /Applications/Utilities folder. In the Activity Monitor application there is a System Memory tab that will display the level of free memory you have (it should be green unless you've changed the colour). 1. Close any unnecessary applications you may have running. 2. Note the level of free memory. 3. With the Activity Monitor application open, run Scratch LIVE, play videos on both decks and then note the level of free memory. 4. Next run MixEmergency (wait for any videos to load) and note the level of free memory. If your free memory is running low after step 3 or 4 then another application is using up your free memory, and you will most likely experience low frame rates in MixEmergency. One thing that I suspect may be happening, if you already own Video-SL, is that this application may also be running in the background. If this is the case then it will most likely be consuming a large portion of your free RAM. In regards to full screen mode: this is disabled in the demo version of MixEmergency. Thanks for posting your problem.
