how do i access the preferences panel?

on the manul it asks me to use the application menu or the keyboard shortcut(which im guessin is the command button). but i cant find an app menu...and that shortcut doesnt do anythign...please help!

The menu for the MixEmergency is at the top of your screen (the menu bar). When you are focused on the MixEmergency application, move your mouse cursor up to the top of the screen (if it is hidden) and you will see the menu bar, and the drop-down menu item titles "MixEmergency". Click on this, and then select the "Preferences..." option from the menu that drops down.

Yep - though that keyboard short-cut may be disabled if the user has the "disable conflicting short-cuts" preference set.
