Ok nick, So i use ME is 3 very distinct ways. All 3 ways have there own Midi mapping's Order that the ME components are displayed in, different opacity of windows and efx used, ect. Would it be possible for you to add a sort of user profile to ME. something where we could store all of these options, options like syhon setting and multi or single window preference. So when im at a gig with a second person doing my video mixing. I could open ME go load user profile "Me and julie Video" and all my options would change to that profile. Then when I show up to run just video for a night. i could open up ME and change the profile to "Visuals only". Those names in quote are just what i would call mine. It would be nice to same them as whatever you want to call them.

Yeah - it's an interesting idea. I've been thinking of something similar for a while. I have a user who has approached me with this before - and can see how it would be useful, even just for going between different clubs with different gear/setups.

Exactly! When im DJing by myself with a DJM2000, i have a way i like to set up ME, when i use an 800, i have a different way. when i use either of those mixers with a second person there 2 more preset i would like to have. This whole user profile idea, is just so i can cut down on setup time. I have enough gear to setup when i play, and 5 min of playing around with ME settings is not helping anything. :) Not that im upset about it at all. Just would like a tool to make it work easier. Couldn't someone in theory, have the program installed twice (maybe this wont work on a mac, but its theory) and 1 install has 1 setting and the other install has the other settings.?

You couldn't really do that with MixEmergency - as the it uses a shared folder for a lot of the data (~/Movies/MixEmergency/)
