Positional Effects

Nick, I'm trying to learn how the positional effects work. I'm wondering how you would set it up to do the following: No effects when playing normal. Full effects when the vinyl is moved backwards. I'm also wondering if there is a way I can assign a MIDI button to trigger any random video effect? I know you're very busy with 2.0 but any help would be appreciated. Thank you, Paul Parker

You will want to use the Velocity mode to control the effects: http://www.inklen.com/mixemergency/manual/effects/ You can set this up to move certain parameters only when playing in reverse. Regarding your MIDI button - there is no way to have a single button trigger a random effect. You can use a MIDI button to trigger a specific effect though (and therefore, you would need multiple buttons to trigger multiple effects).
