I'm finally starting to build my own visuals library. I do my own visuals and most of my files are stored out as ProRes 422 1080p video. Practice setup at home, I will normally remove the left CDJ for the external DVI display when working in ME -> http://www.flickr.com/photos/audun_notevarp/6762442857/in/photostream So in that regards, I'm trying to balance file sizes, best perceivable quality, and computer performance. I'm eventually looking to use ME and the Bridge at the same time, so please take this into consideration. My current computer for playing out is an older non unibody 2.4ghz dual core 2, but I'll get a new mbp 15" (high res version) this spring when I'm ready to take my visuals public. I also have a new i7 mbp 17" for video & animation work, so I'll set this up for testing. 17" is a bit too much for bringing to the club IMO. So, basically I'm looking at Apple intermediate Codec vs H.264, and the highest possible resolution while running stable with the Bridge. Please share your experience. Thanks, WarpNote
