Hey Nick - Ive just tried another export and something else weird is happening. One thing I'll let you know is that ive also tried moving the performance file that ME creates when recording the video mix to my iMac to do the exporting. This is because my DJ laptop is a 2008 MBP while I have a 2010 iMac (which is more powerful and can export/render faster). I have the same file structure so I figured this shouldnt be a problem. Anyways - back to this bug im experiencing. It doesnt happen for every export - ive now experienced something different. And I havent loaded that video to the Media Bank - i havent even experimented with the Media Bank yet! The bug that Im seeing now is that instead of ME trying to load up a different video which I havent even used, its now applied an effect on channel 1 (the hexagon pixel one) to the same video that Ive started the mix with on channel 2. So just so Im clear, i generally start my mixes with channel 2 as im right handed, and for the purposes of recording a video mix i leave channel 1 empty (so when I scratch in an intro im not getting the video on channel 1). so whats happened is that Im seeing the same music video that I used to scratch in on channel 2, somehow on channel 1 with the effect applied. When i start the mix Im scratching in channel 2 and I see that it has blended in with channel 1. When i move the fader all the way to channel 2, the mix plays as per normal. Im exporting as I type this so Ill check the final result but when I did a test export - this is what I saw. And this is happening on both my MBP and iMac.
