When switching to multiple windows the disappear....

For some reason when I switch the preview windows to multiple, they all disappear. The only way I can see the windows is if I keep it to single view. I haven't done anything different as far as I know and it used to work for me. Any idea of how to get them to show up?

Push the keyboard shortcut "command-1" to show/hide the MixEmergency window (the small one with a bunch of buttons on it). At the bottom of that window are a row of buttons that control whether the left, output, and right preiew windows are shown. Enabling these should bring the windows back.

that method dosent work for me im running mac os x version 10.6.8 i press the command key then 1 nothing but a beep happens please help

Ok - so maybe get to the MixEmergency window like this: 1) Open MixEmergency 2) Go to the menu bar at the top of the screen 3) Go into the menu item that is named "Window" and select "MixEmergency" That should bring the MixEmergency window up for you.
