ME don't load album art

Hi everyone ! I'm using ME 1.7.2 on my macbook pro 2011. I would like ME load album art when I play MP3's but it's doesn't work. In the advanced options, I choose "Attempt to load album art" and the mp3's have already tagged with album art... Anybody have a solution please ?

Hi, Unfortunately this feature (automatically loading the album art) is not working correctly due to a bug in Scratch Live 2.0 and upwards. Which reminds me - I need to add this to the known issues page. It is still possible to drag the file that you're currently playing from within Scratch Live onto one of the preview (left/right) video views of MixEmergency to then load up the album art.

you really should load up some video loops in the mediabank and set it to auto load. when it comes to spinning video, motion video looks alot better than a still image when playing mp3's.

By the way, this feature should be working again when using MixEmergency 2.1.0 with Scratch Live 2.4.2 or higher.

Hi, I have downloaded the 2.1.0 demo and I'm trying to load the album art automatically when there is no video linked to my mp3 file, putting that on the preferences, but It can't do it. It loads when I drag the song to the preview displays but not automatically. Am I doing anything wrong? Thanks, Nick!

Can you zip and e-mail me your MixEmergency log file? You can find this at: ~/Movies/MixEmergency/MixEmergency.log (where ~ is your home folder)

Actually - don't worry about sending that through. It looks as thought a bug has managed to sneak its way in, and is causing this not to work in the final versions of 2.1.0. I've managed to find and reproduce the bug, and the fix will be in MixEmergency 2.2.

hi Nick thanks for such an awesome program. i am finally ready to jump in and start using this in sets. this specific feature is what is wanting me to use MixEmergency at all... we are a reggae sound system and being able to show the art from the original 45s is a part of how I want to be rocking our sets now. Just updated SL to 2.4.2 and downloaded your new demo. All ready to give a test run to a mix, and having same problem. No artwork will load for my tracks. do u have an ETA for the 2.2 version? i have a session i would like to be able to use this for at the end of September... would love to be able to test before then... any chance I can help you beta test it? i have a library of 15K tracks all with art in them... 25% of which are AIFF. i am hoping that since SL reads that art, that ME will as well? if I can get this all going I'm sold on purchasing. thanks again man really awesome product so far besides that... my head is spinning!

Hey :) I don't have an ETA for 2.2 yet - the release date will depend on a number of factors. I hope that it won't be too far away though.
