computer crash after 30 minutes of recording

This won't really help you much, but: I'm doubful that MixEmergency would be the source of this particular crash. Let me know if it does occur under the same circumstances again (i.e. if it's occuring only when MixEmergency is recording), or if you find out anything more about what might be triggering it.

So far, the crash has occurred twice. Serato claims it was a Kernel panic associated with a hardware issue. They thought my computer might have overheated but I my internal temp has been very low. I did notice it only happened during recording. I was saving the file to my desktop since it was just a test and I do not know if that was a contributing factor. After each crash and restart, my serato box would not be recognized when plugged in. I restarted again and it was fine.

Yeah - I would say that it is most likely a hardware issue. I've had issues with faulty RAM before that I haven't been able to diagnose with diagnostic software, but has triggered my computer to crash once I started using a larger amount of memory (at the time, browsing multiple tabs in Firefox seemed to be triggering it). It can be a hard thing to find the source of these types of problems sometimes.
