Allow Intergartion Of Animated GIF Or FLASH As Overlay.

This would allow better graphics for a creative dj because the animated GIF or Flash images dont restrict a dj to a single static image. Please consider this option for next ME release.

I'm not sure that GIF and Flash are really the best option (GIF in particular). Quartz Composition support is already include - which can allow you to create dynamic visualisations. I believe it is also possible to send things, such as some Processing sketches, via Syphon (or at least, a Quartz Composition that displays the Syphon input) to MixEmergency.

Yes, that is true, it can be difficult to learn initially. But Flash is definitely no easier. And GIF - well, it's not really the best format for the job.
