Nick There's always a chance. It's something that I've been thinking about for quite some time - but other things have always taken priority over this so far.
DiscoDuck I really hope you can add more. Sometimes I need to play older electro house sets for 2-3 hours and the customers expect video now so I don't want to keep showing the same few videos.
djClint yah can do a set video for individual tracks, in your VSL...once yah do that i will work with ME also..:)
Big This would help a great deal and here is the main reason. I do weddings and regular parties... of course my wedding stuff is nice and sweet but for the other stuff I have shadow dancers with ta-ta's hanging out. Just a pain that before every party I have unload and load. ...... would be nice if we had at least 3 banks...
DiscoDuck Yeah Clint, i know I can set em in VSL. The problem is that sometimes I don't what I'm gonna play, so it'd be nice to be able to play a 2 hour set with no repeating vidz.
skinnyguy for now, you can unload everything at once....and drag in a whole new set. if you pre-made crates of clips then highlight all and drag them in.... make a clean clip crate, adult club clip crate, halloween theme crate, etc..
DiscoDuck Is this gonna make it to the version? If not, can't we just have a folder for ambient vidz that it will load clips from?
Nick It won't be in 2.0 (it's too late to add anything at this stage) - but it's definitely on my list of things to look into.
auralcandynet I say the more the better, but having at least 16 slots would be great because pretty much every MIDI-controller has 16 buttons/pads - or some other number that can be divided by 8. Then again, in that case it would make sense that all preset-banks were also 16 slots. Controllers like APC20/40 or Novation Twitch would be great for ME if the number of buttons would correlate better to ME slots/banks.
codee Honestly Nick. I have used ME several times as a stand alone visuals program so the club doesn't have to run stupid snowboarding videos when im not DJ'ing. All i need is a larger Media Bank so i can do this more effectively. Maybe have an option in the preferences stating how many rows of the media bank would you like to have. give options from 1-8. 8x8 would be more than anyone would ever need. Or add ot the presets box and have Media bank layers, so we could jump from layer to layer (or of course trigger any clip we want via MIDI from any layer). Hell even better, add both of these options so that when you choose 2 rows layer 1 and 2 would be displayed. :) Anyway im sure you get the idea. If and when you get to adding this let me know i would love to beta test it stand alone for you at the club and let you know how it works. :)
Nick Yeah - it's something I want to add, but other things have been a higher priority so far. We'll see where it fits in with the next version's features.... but please don't start asking me when that's going to be released ;)
DiscoDuck I think this should be high priority Nick :) Really would be nice to be able to play a full two hour audio set with all different videos. Love the syphon support btw on 2.0.
