This isnt something Im really in dyer need of a solution, but more to satisfy my brain. Sat night I did a spot, Ive done video there solo 3 times there before. Via TTM 57 SL and ME SSL 1.9.2 this time around I was tagging. I played first, no issues. Threw on a record for the swap, unplugged the 57 from my MBP, gave it to him. I continued to put visuals on the screen by usings my "stock" video footage and adding effects via the SSL Offline player and ME simple. easy. loved it. heres where it gets tricky. when the hours up. we through on a record, and I take the 57 USB from him and put it back in the same slot it was in (this is the only hardware change) out of the 8 Tvs in the room, the 4 closest ones are fine, the 4 furthest ones are getting sporatic glimpses of the video feed. the first thing I thought, the signal is for somereason deteroating that far across the room. so i recycled ME, and my Scan Converter...same thing. the only thing I did NOT recycle was SSL. so I finish my hour and as soon as I unplug the 57 from my MBP...POW all the screens come back in full force. so, for shiits and giggles, I stick the usb back in... pow, the go away. so, obviously Ive routed the issue. Im just curious why this would happen, and if your doing tag teaming video with someone are you going to have to restart m-e/ssl every time your about to replug your hardware? odd huh?
