Serato Waveform Lag

Im trying out the demo verision and I love it so far. I just have a small question before I buy it. When I run both ME and Serato 2.1 the waveforms tend to have a small delay. I tried out with just serato running videos without the video sl activate but alowing to use videos and that works great. The problem comes when when I open ME, I can see the lag in the waveforms and serato circles the 1st second I open it. I just upgraded to 4GB Ram so the RAM part shouldn't be an issue. I have about 2GB left for RAM when I use both programs. The only program I have open are Serato and ME. How much reserved cache is recommened for ME? Any help would be greatly appreaciated. Thanks.

I was getting lags as well. I did some adjustments in both buffers (ME and Serato) until my waves ran smoothly. How that helps

What buffer settings do you have for both? What screen/audio refresh do you have in Serato?

There are a few things you can do to stop/reduce this: 1) Make sure that your output monitor is set to a low resolution (640x480 is recommend - as most videos people play are that resolution) 2) Set the Refresh Rate of your output monitor to something other than 60 Hz (e.g. 50 Hz) 3) You can disable the "Synchronise Output to Screen Refresh" option in the Advanced panel of MixEmergency's preferences (though this can cause "tearing" of the output image).
