djjaketheripper Got my SL4 a couple of days ago and last night I took it to my gig and decided to attempt video with it. It was a big fail... -I set my primary decks to be 2 and 3. (Left 2 and right 3) -The video on deck 3 would only advance when deck 2 would be spinning. I couldn't figure out anyway for deck 2 to start playing the video clip. Its almost like it forced deck 3 and 4 to be the primary decks. Audio was playing just fine and both faders would correspond to the midi. -I unplugged the sl box cables in the back and then plugged my turntables into 1 and 2 and changed the primary decks and nothing happened. No video movement. -so in short deck 3 would only play the video when deck 2 was moving. no video on deck 2 I will try to plug in the sl4 box with decks 3 and 4 being primary and see how that works.. Nick I don't have an SL 4 here right now, but one of our testers will have one, and I'll see how they have it set up and get back to you.
djjaketheripper kinda got it figured out... it works fine if you use channel 1 and 2 as the inputs and then use channel 1 and 2 on whatever physical channel on the mixer. Setting the primary decks had nothing to do with fixing the problem. simple solution but would like to get it so the video primary decks are 2 and 3.
