Load Time Lag

I just purchased ME a few days ago and noticed that when loading videos it takes a second or two to load on ME. I have tried it with SL 2.1 and 2.2 and have gotten the same results. I use instant doubles 99% of the time when I play out and this lag happens all the time. Is anyone else experiencing this? Is there something I need to tweak to make if work better? Macbook pro 2009 unibody 4 gigs ram

try 1.9.2 or 2.0.. both of those version have issue with video's.. even with vsl. I use 2.0 and I don't get lag time with it.. And I have a 2007 mbp
