It should be compatible. If I recall correctly, Pioneer have shipped these units with MIDI disabled by default (I'm not sure why they've chosen to do this). If you go into the settings on the device, then you should be able to enable MIDI output and map the device to MixEmergency.

Xdj-xz works fine with Soundswitch as midi, it's the Mixemergency I can't map the crossfader, I have no clue please help. Thanks.

Hi Nick, for now I have mapped auto fade with the cue button on my XDJ-XZ, I would love to have the crossfader midi working which I am not able to, it's not the controller as I can midi map the crossfader and the channel fadder in Soundswitch, so please look in to the issue. Thanks.

In MixEmergency, go to the menubar (at the top of the screen), select Window, then MIDI. This will open the MIDI window. Is the XDJ-XZ listed in the MIDI inputs drop-down menu? And is it enabled?

Yes, it is enabled, am able to map the buttons to automix.

Perhaps you can go into that MIDI window and enable MIDI logging. Do you get any output at all when you move the crossfader?

Ok, so MixEmergency is definitely seeing the fader. If you go into MIDI mapping mode, what colour is the crossfader in MixEmergency? And if you click the crossfader, then "LEARN NEW", then move your XDJ-XZ crossfader, does it learn the control and turn green?

Yes it turns green but no movement in crossfader.

Xone db4 is crashing when I try to record. As soon as I select the mixer Mix Emergency crashes.

Hi Nick the link between the software and my Rane TTM 57 SLII mixer seems to have stopped working with the latest release (3.6). Is there a compatibility issue? Im running Serato DJ Pro 2.5.0 Mac OS High Sierra 10.13.6

No, there shouldn't be any issues. I would try restarting your computer, then if it's still not working, check that it's working with Serato Video (because if it's not working there, then the fader data will not be passed through to MixEmergency). If it's still not working after this, then email me at support@inklen.com.
