Transition Vs. EFXs

Is there a way to use transition as EFX's and vise versa..most importantly the smash efx...O think it would work better as and efx then a transition,,IJS

How would you expect the smash effect to work?

IMO it's too quick of a transition...i just think it would be better as an efx...that's all, but i just i can use double vidz and just move the fader when I want to use it as an efx

I use just using this again nick and here's what I notice would (Maybe make it better).. The smash happens when the fader is opened.. How bout a lil hold in the middle then the smash happens the video is switched. What you think?

Those Smash/SE plug-ins are all "Scratch Edition" (SE) plug-ins, so they've been designed to cut in really quickly (you may have noticed that you can layer the smash animation if you do it fast enough). I do have some other similar ones that I've been working on that are more suited to regular mixing though.
