Quicktime Streaming Video Exporting

MBP 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo 4 GB 1067 MHz DDR3 RAM Mac OS X Version 10.5.8 MixEmergency Version 1.5 ============================================ I have exported a couple of Quicktime videos in hopes of achieving a streaming capable video however, the videos are not streaming. Yes - there is a problem regarding the streaming settings in MixEmergency 1.5. This is something that has been fixed for MixEmergency 1.6. For now you can download this small utility which should fix the issue: www.inklen.com/public/FlattenMovie.zip You just need to open the FlattenMovie application and then drag and drop your movie file onto it. I would recommend making a backup copy of your movie before you do this though, as this application has only had limited testing.

Very prompt response! Thank you. I downloaded the file 36.9 KB, but when I attempt to open the file I get the following error: "Safari can’t open the file “FlattenMovie.app” because no available application can open it." Again, thank you.

That's strange. You could try this version: www.inklen.com/public/FlattenMovieLeopard.zip Otherwise, perhaps try downloading it with another browser maybe.... or I guess I could e-mail it to you.

Thanks Nick. That link worked. ;-) Opened the application and I'll let you know how it turns out.

One thing I forgot to note: make sure you give the application some time to run once you drop your file into it. It could take anywhere between a few seconds to a few minutes to process the movie (or even longer if it is a large file on an external drive).

Nice...yea, I did let it run. The file was only 160 MB, so it wasn't bad on time. Uploading the video now and will let you know. I know you guys have already been beat up enough about when v1.6 will be released so I won't ask....so hurry up and release it! Alright....alright...just kidding.
