Hello all, It would be nice to have some feedback on the Hdd or ssd you are using to store the videos. I am searching for more space, less cables, less things to carry. I wanted to upgrade my mac, but it seems I can only go for an internal of 2to, and that is not enough With some adapters it seems it is possible to install nvme m2 up to 4to but it seems risky in terms of heat for the mac. So I'm looking for a new extremal ssd or hdd of 4to to 8to. I have a macbook pro mid 2015.i7, 16 gigas ram, 512 hard drive, graphic card AMD Radeon R9 M370X 2Go ram GDDR5 But a I prepare the new videos on my PC, and also on the mac... so I opted for 2 external hdd of 2to each. The case is Advance BX-203U3BK, the hdd Seagate BarraCuda 2 To (ST2000LM015) 2.5" 7mm 2 To 5400 RPM 128 Mo Serial ATA 6 Gb/s (bulk) I connected them with an Anker 4 ports usb hub (powered only by the mac usb port) I was thinking on getting Samsung T7 Shield 4TB Or SanDisk 4 To Extreme SSD Or getting a new case an putting inside a Samsung 870 QVO 8TB I am worried about the power consumption, and the heat, even for the external . Thanks all for your feedback and the hardware you use.
