font problem

I've noticed this for a while (3.5.4 and a few before - but I'm on 3.6.0 now) but I noticed the left or right ends of some words get cut off when using the text overlay. This only happens for certain fonts. I'm pretty sure this didn't happen before. Maybe it's a setting I adjusted once but can't find again? I have some screenshots.

Also, I could've sworn I could make the letters bigger to fill the entire screen.

Can you give me an example of the text and font that you've used to cause this?

if I put a space before the text, it helps with the left-most letter. but for the right, i have to put a period. but then that throws things off, especially if you add a rotate effect.

Thanks - I don't have this specific font, but I'll see if I can reproduce this.

Yes, I've managed to reproduce this with another font. However, I've not been able to find a solution. The text width that macOS is giving MixEmergency appears to be incorrect, and this is what is causing the text to become clipped. I'm still looking into this.
