Flickering when M.E. Starts up

GM - i downloaded ME 3.5.4 on MBP running Catalina 10.15.7. When I click "Run Demo" the Control Window starts flickering, the fader is "green" but doesn't respond. I have a short 8 second video showing what Im seeing but dont think I can share here. I'm using Serato DJ 2.5.7... Any help will be greatly appreciated..

Perhaps you've managed to map a MIDI control to the button that shows/hides the Control Window. Can you please: 1) Make sure that MixEmergency is not running. 2) In the macOS Finder, navigate to your Movies folder, then within this to your MixEmergency folder, and within this to the Control Mappings folder. 3) Rename the file "_AUTOSAVE.xml" to "_AUTOSAVE_backup.xml". 4) Launch MixEmergency. Has that helped the issue?
