klepoy Is there a way for ME to know the track and artist currently playing in serato? I’d like to overlay that info in my display with some ME effects. If not, can the text overlay read a text from a file? Thanks.
klepoy No. But I will look into. Any pointers when using it to achieve something easily? Is there a template where I can just replace a variable? Thanks.
Nick They're not quite what you're after, but there is a file, named "MixEmergency Template.qtz", in the Example Quartz Compositions folder of MixEmergency's Disk Image, that has most of the supported inputs listed and ready to use.
TIMOUNGEGE Hi The Template.qtz allows to get the name of the artist and the track so Is it possible to get the path to the tracks? I would like to get the id3tag properties to display the album art of the aif, flac tracks. Thanks
TIMOUNGEGE Thank you for your answer, Do you include the display of cover art for Aif and Flac format in the next version?
Nick It's currently possible to display it when an audio file is played - but it's not available to Quartz Compositions.
TIMOUNGEGE I try all version, albums arts are displayed with mp3, no Aif and Flac. Is there a manupalutation to do for this display it wtih Aif and Flac. ? http://www.inklen.com/forum/discussion/3082/album-art-aif-flac-file-audio-not-display#latest
klepoy I am trying to make a simple QC by taking the ME template and making use of the MediaTitle1 input string and sending it to the Billboard or Sprite patch but having no luck. I just want the song title to display using a QC. Can someone please send an example of a basic QC that works using the ME template? Thanks much in advance.
klepoy I am now able to create a basic QC that displays the song title. However it seems that the supported input MediaTitle1 and MediaArtist1 always chooses the track that’s in channel1. Is there a way to select the currently playing track regardless of which deck? Thanks.
Nick If you're using it as an overlay, then you'll need to use the Mix input to switch between MediaTitle1 and MediaTitle2. The Mix input is a number between 0.0 and 1.0, and indicates the position of the crossfader of MixEmergency.
