DJM S11 Crossfader Mapping Problem

Hi, the Pioneer DJM S9 and S11 are industry standard mixers and I figured they would be compatible with Mix Emergency. The crossfader is not automatically mapped like it has been for other mixers I have used. Does anybody have any advice for setting this up correctly? There must be thousands of Video DJs using Mix Emergency with one of these mixers. I midi mapped the crossfader but it is incredible choppy. I used the smoothing function but it still isn't nearly as smooth as I would expect from professional Video DJ software and mixer. Any help anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The fader should be mapped automatically. I would remove the current MIDI mapping that you've applied and check that: 1) Crossfading is enabled in Serato Video. You’ll want to check that it’s working in Serato Video. If it’s not working there, then the signal won’t automatically be sent through to MixEmergency. 2) You’ve enabled the crossfader in MixEmergency. Check out the manual, here: http://www.inklen.com/mixemergency/manual/controlwindow/ You will noticed, under the Transition View section there is a button, labelled #8 that is enabled. Make sure this button is enabled on MixEmergency’s Control window. 3) You’ve enabled the crossfader in MixEmergency’s Preferences. In MixEmergency, go to the Preferences, then check that “Use External Controller Crossfader” is enabled in the Transition section.
