Quartz Overlay Transition

Hello Nick, I have been playing around with the Quartz Composer and have made screensavers, stand alone compositions and basic overlays for ME. I have tried to create an overlay that utilizes Image1, Image2 and Mix, but i cannot get the overlay to respond. I tried with Mix only, but the fader movement doesn't affect the QTZ overlay. Just sent you a simple Dissolve transition. While this will work, it won't produce transitions as efficient as the purpose-built plug-in for MixEmergency.

Hi Nick, I am trying to accomplish something similar to what was asked for in this thread. Basically an image overlay will that rotate between two image 1 and image 2 as u crossfade between tracks. It is possible to send an example to topdonn1@gmail.com.

Do you mean static images? Or the left/right channel images? If you use the templates included in the MixEmergency disk image that you downloaded, then they will give you a starting point to get the "Image" inputs, as well as the "Mix" (i.e. crossfader) input.

Hi Nick, Im talking about Static Images like a clubs logo. So using that static images in conjunction with the "Mix".

Here are a couple of compositions that will help you to get on the right track: http://www.inklen.com/download/157/ImageFade.zip One of them uses the Dissolve transition to go between two images, and the second rotates the images. You'll need Quartz Composer to open the files and edit them with your own images.
