dj_marv I purchased a portable thunderbolt screen to use as a video monitor during djing. https://www.packedpixels.com/products/packed-pixels Mix emergency doesnt recognize it as an extra screen. In the screen drop down menu i can only see "Color LCD" which is same as my laptop monitor. If i drag the Mixemergency display to the monitor and try to maximize the screen it bounces back enlarged on to my laptop display. Any ideas?
dj_marv Hi @nick I tried the screen with Serato Video & another video software. It is recognised as an extra screen i.e I could output the mix on that screen. I will check system preferences now.
dj_marv The screen is recognised in System Preferences. It's working as it should but not with Mixemergency. Its connected via Thunderbolt/Display Port
Nick What happens if you disconnect and then connect the screen while MixEmergency is running? And are there any messages logged in the Console Application (in the All Messages section) from MixEmergency when it starts up and the screen is connected?

Nick Hmmm, I'm wondering if it has to do with the names of the built-in screen and the external screen being the same.
dj_marv Responded to the email. I wondered about the name too and looked around to see if I could rename the screen but I can't.
