DJDannyBoi I was watching the Ustream channel "The Mixing Lab" Where I saw DJ Crush use a Red Bull Logo as a transition. How do they do that?
Nick Magic ;) Actually - those plug-ins are our custom transitions. These aren't available to the general public yet.
Nick Not too sure yet. Each one has to be created separately right now (i.e. a special vector mask needs to be created, then the mask needs to be animated in some custom software tools, and then it needs to be packaged as a MixEmergency plug-in).
Nick Charging to create custom transitions is something that is currently being considered - but it's not something that is going to be available too soon.
mastak07 Any chances of getting the name of the custom tools required :)? Do I use quartz composer once Ive made a vector mask or do you just use quartz composer for building the plugin? help? lol
Nick Sure - the software is called VectorCreator.... and I'm the only person with a copy of it. You would also need the source code for the transition.

Nick Hehe - yeah, hopefully we'll have some way for users to get their hands on the transitions soon-ish. I'm not sure about the VJ conference yet - will know soon.
mastak07 Cool! Could you please email playtone@clear.net.nz when your at a stage where you can let peeps make their own transitions? It would really make my performances stand out from the competition:) I was thinking of going or maybe I could put a bid in to have the next VJ conference on the Gold Coast, Australia! hahahahaha
