henrygq not sure if this was asked... is there way that i can have scratchlive on my macbook and Mix Emergency on another screen?(computer monitor/tv) and still play the music videos on all the screens in the bar or whatever ?
Nick Kind of.... If you've got a Matrox TripleHead2Go and some sort of monitor system then you can set the Arrangement preference in MixEmergency to "Left, Mix, Right", and run each of the 3 outputs to a monitor.... though you might need some sort of splitter also to split the output channel between your monitor and the bar's screen input.
Nick I would highly doubt that you would get very good performance using a USB to multi-monitor convertor.

henrygq so i just used my old macbook. and nothing happended either. pretty bummed ab this. the one matrox dp edition that they say i need. looks like its only hdmi out. which i could never do anyways.. very frustrated over this. any other ideas nick?
Nick I'm not quite sure what you're wanting in regards to that screen-shot you've posted.... can't you expand the ME window to be half the screen already?
henrygq i was just putting out an example of how cool it looked so far lol. anyways im gonna hop on the phone tomorrow with matrox and see if theres anyway i can use my old macbook pro to just test it out. unless u know of some way for me to use my old macbook as that extra screen im looking for.... other wise my dream of this happening might die for now.. sigh. but as far as my new macbook(2010) they want me to get the matrox triplehead2go DP edition. i got the digital version in the mail today. with the DP edition. ive noticed that it looks like its hdmi out? idk. im seriously bumming over this. will find out more tomorrow
Nick Yeah - it's probably best if you give them a call, as they'll be able to tell you everything you need to get it set up and running.
Nick If you do get it up and running (and intend to use it live), give me an e-mail, as you won't be able to use the full-screen button in MixEmergency (i.e. you'll need to resize the output window manually), and there was a bug in 1.5 that will cause the output window to maintain the refresh rate of your main laptop screen. It doesn't affect anyone who uses the full-screen mode though.

davidp hey henrygq, i know it doesnt matter now 1.6 is coming with split screen, but before in 1.5, i had the air display on the ipad, and i moved ME to the ipad,,, that is a thought if you have an ipad
