Dicer or Akai LPD8

Hey fellas, I was wondering if any of you use any of these two USB MIDI Controllers, or if you know of someone does. Basically the only function I would like to map would be the ME transition from one mixer channel to the other, as I will be participating in an event, where the mixer will not have MIDI controls. I started w/ a nano pad

then moved to the Kontrol

then went back to the nano for quite a while til the dicers came out (the kontrol was too busy) then I switched to the Mac & ME I use my dicers with SSL and my Kontrol to run ME loving it so far!!

Nah, I have a 17" and before that my xps has 4 USB hubs

i use the lpd8 and i love it. i've mapped all the buttons and knobs in program 4 to ME's effect presets, effect, p1, p2, effect amount and transition. the lpd8 doesn't have a slider, but who cares i have a 57sl.

Hey guys, thanks for the help. The reason I will be in need of a MIDI controller is because I'll be playing at a venue, where they don't have a 57SL. @Joshua: Thanks for the videos, they were very informational. As far as the nano pad, would you say that I'd be able to map ME transitions to it? In a nutshell, I'd like to mimic the 57SL slider function. Thanks for your help

djnyce, For the lpd8, are you able to mimic the 57SL slider function. Like say, mapping channel one to one button and channel two to another button. I'm not familiar whatsoever with MIDI Controllers, but I need to invest in one. Thanks for your help!
