hey... this is one of my favorite horror movie tricks/transitions. when they want to swap out the actor, for a dummy they will have a sihlouette of a person walk by the screen.... this is very simular to seeing a person walk by a projector in a movie theater. and u see their shadow walk by the screen. if you goto 5:25 to 5:35 of my video you will see how George Romero uses this effect to change actors to dummys. I think with some tweaking this would be a pretty cool effect to have people crossing the screen, and having the images changing behind their trail. this would obviously be a little more intensive that a wide with the trail of the wipe being a shadow...
