Certain Transitions cause blank output

I have had this issue before and I thought ME was crashing so I restarted it. This time it happened instead of restarting ME i just switched random transitions and everything was fine. So here is the scenario: Im djing and everything with ssl and me are working great. I load a track into a non outputting deck to cue it up and the main output goes blank. It happened every time my random transition selected "swinging doors" or "spinning cube" (not sure which one). Before even attempting to transitions the main out put would go blank but not completely bank. Very small images of something were shown on the very bottom of the output but i couldn't make them out they were too small. Moving the fader to middle or back to playing track changed nothing it was still blank. Did not matter what track, it happened about 6 times last night every time the random transitions selected either of those two. Im going to try and recreate it but not sure if I will be able to since this exact setup and very similar playlist has worked fine for the past 5 gigs. Only having this problem once before when i first bought ME. Comp Specs: SSL 1.9.2 ME 1.5 VSL 1.2 Enabled but not active. Unibody 2.66 i7 4gb Ram 750gb internal hd MBP.

Are you using the Fall transition? I've found a small bug in that transition that might cause dark or flickering output if only one deck has video loaded. I'll try to get a new version out soon.

im not using that one. But for some reason these two are giving me problems. I really hope I can recreate it and record it on screen flow.

Well good news and bad news. It happened again at last nights gig, good news is i turned on screenflow and recorded it. At the beginning of the night the transitions were working fine. At least i know for sure the spinning cube was because i remember using it a few times. Then all of a sudden it random transitioned to one of the ones that is having the problem. i switched through a few of them and it looks like swinging doors, spinning cube, reflective swap, and maybe others i just didnt go through them all. Here is what happens:

There is no audio so dont freak out that you dont hear anything :) The problem continued until i turned everything off, i hope i can get this fixed. I love these transitions!!

Well it's interesting to see that the reflections at the bottom are still displaying correctly - as are the images rendered when the crossfader is far left and far right. I might send you a quick e-mail about this.

^{^Well} regarding that the spinning cube transition causes completely blank output on both sides in the output but not the preview.

I've just had a look through the Spinning Cube code, and that would make sense that it isn't behaving like the Reflective Swap and Swinging Doors plug-in.

could it be related to contour settings? i found that some transitions didn't work well with the 57's contour setting so i disabled it in ME and only use ME's built-in contour.

I don't think so. You can see from the video that the bottom reflections for the transition are still showing. It's just the top part of that particular transition that has problems.

Email sent. Looks like what ever you did fixed the issue i was having. I wonder why it seems im the only one having this issue. New mbp i7 problem??

Cool - I'm not sure why you're the only one that is seeing this issue. I'll be able to fix up those few plug-ins and get them out soon.
