dj_marv Is there a way to make ME play just stuff in the media bank at all times Like an option to play just the visual loops irrespective of what I load in serato? If not can this be a feature request. Sometimes I want to just have a visual set, I know I can just play audio files but since I started vjing I've ceased to download duplicates (video + audio only)

Nick No, this isn't possible at the moment (unless you want to set it to the "MixEmergency" control mode - in which case it won't sync effects, etc to the BPM, you won't be able to scratch video, and it won't load new media when a new file is loaded).
Nick No, Resolume can't be controlled by Serato DJ at all. Maybe the MixEmergency control mode is what you want? You can enable this by Selecting "MixEmergency" in the pop-up menu at the top right corner of the main MixEmergency window.
Nick There is also the option to just trigger the visual loops manually via MIDI (or by clicking them in the Media Bank). You would just need to remember to do this each time you load a video.
dj_marv Just thought of a work around. Can i use a quartz composition that scans contents of a folder (radikarl) then load that as an overlay and run that for the set?
Nick If you want it to just load clips randomly, you can do that. You can also drag a folder onto the Media Bank, then this will scan the folder and allow you to load new clips each time you trigger it.
