apremierdj What is a safe MIDI channel range I can use that is likely to not already be in use by Serato enabled hardware/ controllers. I'm using TouchOSC using Channel 1-40 and some MIDI controls are mapped to the same as my Pioneer DDJ SR
apremierdj Maybe try this a different way. Is there a way to deactivate MIDI controls from Serato hardware? all or some? The only one I'd need is the crossfader.
apremierdj Not sure what you mean. Every button is assigned a channel/ note. Meaning every button on a Serato controller has a different channel. Right?
soundinsurgent No, for every Ch there's so many notes. Example, button 1 = ch1/#1 Button 2 = ch1/#2 And so on and so on.... You should be seeing this pattern in the TouchOSC editor. Did you didn't make the template yourself??
Nick You can deactivate certain controllers. Go into the MIDI window of MixEmergency (in the menubar, select Window -> MIDI). Next, in the dropdown list of Inputs, deselect the controller that you don't want to use.
