I may have missed it on the forum but now serato is out for El Capitan, any word on whether mix emergency 3 works too without any issues?

There haven't been any issues reported when using Mac OS X El Capitan.

Recent just changed the os x Yosemite to the captain and if there are errors 1, the video freezes 2 The audio is cut (this happens very rarely) 3 waves of serato dj between pausean. all this with the version 3.0.2, there will be an update to the captain.

serato dj 1.8.1 in macbook pro mid 2012 2.3 GHZ quad core, 16gb ram, SSD 240gb & hard dirve 1tb HGST Dual Video Card.

i am seeing some judder on what used to be a very smooth tiled crawl text prior to upgrade to el capitan. intel iris pro 16gb memory mid 2014 mac book pro

i'm using 3.0.2 and serato 1.8.1 and i have had issues for the past few months or so... but it may stem from serato. if i use the osx finder to drop an image or video, ME video locks up, sometimes i load a video and the audio plays but the scrolling text, image overlay and video freeze, only updating the screen every 30 seconds or so... the freeze is not only on the video, but also locks up the gui on serato. it's happening on videos ive successfully played in the past. had to take ME and serato down 3 times during a 5 hour gig yesterday. considering fresh installs and going back to older versions. using a Macbook Pro 2013 2.4 8gb ram.

I suspect that this is more likely caused by recent updates to Serato DJ than Mac OS X - I don't know for sure though. Does disabling GPU-accelerated video decoding, and then restarting, help at all?

I have been having the same problem. I notice after i load a song/ video if i manipulate the track (scratching or cueing too quickly the audio skips. Mashups for too long have been way to risky. Twice in a five hour gig my media both audio and video stopped being able to be read. even in the finder videos and audio would not play. I have been using a code in terminal to verify disk permisions since it is not in el capitans disk utility. worked at home for 3 hours but still failed int the club. I believe it is something to do with el capitan. I tried GPU on and off same. adjusted the memory buffer both ways and the same thing. 2015 mac pro 2.2 i7 16 gb memory solid state drive. I personally believe its el capitan i am reverting right now second time i have had to do this

What hardware are you using? There are definitely still some issues with hardware support for Serato DJ and El Capitan.
