Final Cut Pro edits export settings / Audio plays but video freezes

Hi guys Need help asap!!! I have made an edit in Final Cut Pro X Exported as MP4 load serato and ME Audio plays but video freezes and thats that! cache is set to 200mb macbook info is macbook pro mid 2012 16 gig ram 500 gig solid state 2.6 i7 quad all video files are held internally thanks Craig

Do you have more information about the video that you're playing? What dimensions did you export it as? Do you know the frame rate of the video?

I've noticed this same freezing issue a bunch of times on all of my exports. A lot of freezing since I've upgraded to Mix emergency 3. Never had this issue before. Video Dimensions: 640X480 Codecs: AAC, H.264 Here is a link to an example of 3 different videos doing it. The first and last video was 29.97 fps. The Beyonce and Nicki video was 25 fps.

This may be a different issue, so perhaps you can start a different discussion? (is this only occuring when exporting, or also when playing?).

Had visual freezing problems with some videos that had framerates more than 30fps. I asked here and on the Serato forum what the optimal setting for encoding on FCPX and the answer I got was "leave the source frame rate"! This was a conundrum as anything higher than 30 I got visuals freezing in ME. The work around for me (either of the following) 1. Uncheck GPU acceleration in ME or 2. Reencode the videos to 30 Frames per second or less. I still posit the same question, in a Final Cut Pro X and Handbrake workflow, whats the optimal setting for 720p and 1080p music videos?

I've found and fixed an issue with high frame-rate videos in MixEmergency - and the fix will be in the next release. As for the "optimal" settings, I'm not sure with those two apps, other than to say that with Handbrake you'll want to have the keyframe distance low (around 30 frames apart).
