Problem with MIDI crossfader when updated to Serato 1.8.0

Hello all. I have a 15" MacBook Pro, ( 2.3 GHz Intel Core i7 Processor with 4 GB 1600 MHz of Memory). Running on OS X 10.10.5 (Yosemite) I updated to Serato DJ 1.8.0 and have the latest ME. 3.0.2. and use a Pioneer DDJ-SX & DDJ-SZ controller. Since i updated to new Serato DJ 1.8.0 i have had an issue with the crossfader transitions. I have have my crossfader midi mapped to both controllers and set to "Auto-Fade with Crossfader" Prior to the update, when i would transition from left to right (or vice versa) when crossfader on controller was in middle or a tick mark past the video transition would occur. Now with this update, i have to put the fader all the way to the other side for transition to start. As a result next track is playing but the pervious video is still playing for a couple of seconds as the transition starts. When i set ME to "Link to crossfader" there is no problem. However don't like how it slams into next video. Any HELP PLEASE!!! Is it a setting that i accidentally changed? THANKS in advance for the help.

Try un-mapping the MIDI crossfader. Does this help?

Thanks for getting back to me Nick. Yes i un-mapped and re-mapped and still get the same result. Before the Serato update when controller crossfader was about a tic or two past mid point the midi fader would transition. Now i have to be about 2 tics before the other side of fader to the transition to even start.

Can you to into MixEmergency's Preferences, to the Transition panel, and see at what point the setting for "Trigger Auto-fade with Crossfader at:" setting is set to? Also, check that the Contour settings are disabled. If none of this helps, it might also help to open Serato Video and check that crossfader contouring is disabled there as well - as I think this can have an effect on the values sent through to MixEmergency.

I was having problems with the cross fader it used to jump to he middle every now and again but with them controllers you don't need to midi map it so go to the midi part on ME and delete all the midi maps on the cross fader and it should be fine . I was using a ddj sz . So now if I use a normal mixer again I just re asign it again Cheers Matt
