Nick Frame Blending: Off Cache Size: Use whatever MixEmergency recommends (it'll tell you if you've set it to something too high that might cause issues when you change it).
jjdj nick thanks.. what about all the other display settings, just so I'm on the right path.. reason I ask is that I think SV looked sharper :/
Nick Make sure that the Output Quality slider is at 100%, and that the Advanced Output is turned off. Assuming this, and that the effects are turned off, then the output of ME is clearer than SV.
jjdj that jet lag business not funny huh.. i had advanced on :/ any recommendations for scaling, enable colour correction, plus theres a load of settings within the " advanced " tab??.. i'll get the hang of all this at some stage!!
Nick Most of the time the default settings should be fine. The Colour Correction is only really there for the times you're playing on systems that haven't been calabrated well. As for the Scaling - it depends on the aspect ratio of your videos, and whether you prefer to scaled within the output (i.e. with bars down the sides when you play a 4:3 video on a 16:9 output), or prefer to have the video cropped (i.e. the top and bottom get cut off when you play a 4:3 video on a 16:9). Generally I would recommend using Fit or Letterbox.
